Before joining Atena, Martim was a Private Equity Analyst at Explorer Investments for a period of 4 years where he took part in 11 deals that resulted in investments exceeding €35M. He was also responsible for monitoring 10 portfolio companies, being a board member at 5 of them.

At the beginning of his career he spent 4 years at Deloitte Portugal, 1 year as an analyst at the Audit department and 3 years as a Senior Consultant at the Corporate Finance Department where he provided advisory services related to M&A, valuations, financial restructuring and business strategy engagements.

He holds a BSc and MSc in Management from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
