João started his career as an analyst at Deutsche Telekom’s seed capital team in Berlin, where he analyzed and invested in tech-based companies.

After that, he worked at Redalpine Venture Partners, a Swiss venture capital firm investing in tech and biotech early stage companies in the DACH region. He was also an M&A consultant, with experience in infrastructure, consumer goods and real estate.

João is an Invited Professor at Católica-Lisbon SBE, where he teaches Private Equity and Entrepreneurial Finance since 2017, after being a Teaching Assistant for 4 years.

He holds a Master in Finance and a Bachelor degree in Management by Católica-Lisbon SBE and Carnegie Mellon University.
