João joined Atena in 2026 as an Analyst, with responsibilities including the negotiation, structuring, and execution of Atena’s investment and divestment transactions.

Prior to joining Atena, João pursued his academic path at Nova School of Business and Economics, where he completed a Master’s degree in Finance. During this period, he combined his studies with his role as a Teaching Assistant for the Financial Accounting course.

João also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the same institution and completed an academic exchange period at Università Luigi Bocconi in Milan.
