David started his career at Citigroup, where he worked in the M&A team in Madrid and, later, in the Global Capital Management team in London, where he worked on several M&A and capital allocation deals with key global players.

Later, David joined Avington Financial, a London-based M&A boutique focused in the hospitality and consumer goods sectors. Prior to joining Atena, David was part of the strategy team at Uber in Sydney, where he was responsible for the financial optimization and competitive response of the Australian and New Zealand markets.

David holds a Master of Science (MSc.) in Finance and the CEMS-MIM Master in International Management from Nova School of Business and Economics and a Bachelor degree in Economics from Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto.
